Cycling holidays in the Auvergne region
Come and make lots of altimeters in the Auvernge region! Cyclist can live it up in from right outside our accommodation. Either on a road bike on stunning and quiet country roads or on tracks and trails with a mountain bike.

Our accommodation offers special facilities for cyclists. Besides a spot to hose down mountain bikes Les Camélias also offers spacious bike storage and a place to maintain your bikes. And after a day of cycling you can use our free laundry service for cycling cloths.
We can help you plan where to go and have a variety of routes available; on paper or downloadable as GPS track. If you do not have a GPS yourself, you can rent one at Les Camélias.
Bicycles can be rented in La Bourboule, at 6 km from Les Camélias. Not only modest mountain bikes for adults and children but also city bikes, tandems, trailer bikes, bicycle trailers and child seats are available. Of course Les Camélias can take care of the rental for you.
Les Camélias can offer (for groups up to 10 persons) a complete package. Fully taken care of from breakfast via a packed lunch up to a 3-course dinner. You will however have to do your own cycling! Dinner only on the day of arrival belongs also to the possibilities Les Camélias has to offer. Please contact us for more detailed information and pricing details.
On 10 July 2008 the 6th stage of the Tour de France did pass by our door to finish up the mountain at Super-Besse.
On 9 July 2010 the Tour de France did come through Le Mont-Dore again. From Le Mont-Dore, the peloton did climb the Col de Croix St. Robert and did then climb - as in 2008 - to the finish in Super-Besse.
