Cyclosportives on the road in the Auvergne region
The following 2 cyclos normally take place in the Auvergne close to Les Camélias and rotate each year. Unfortunately the 2012 version of the Tour du Sancy-Sommet du Puy de Dôme will not take place. This because of the inauguration of the Puy de Dôme tourist train. In 2014 this cyclosportive will again be organised. The start will be in Clermont-Ferrand and the finish will normallly be at the top of the then again for cyclist (under restrictions) re-opened Puy de Dôme.
The 2-day cyclo Clermont-Aurillac-Clermont will again take place in 2013. The first day 118 miles and 2,690 altimeters were bridged. The second day 114 miles and 2,890 meters in altitude had to be done. Moreover these tours can also be done as normal rides.
