Cyclosportives on the road
The following 2 cyclos rotate each year. May 29, 2010 the Tour du Sancy-Sommet du Puy de Dôme over 101 or 65 miles took place. The start is in Clermont-Ferrand and the finish at the top of the Col de Ceyssat.
The 2-day cyclo Clermont-Aurillac-Clermont will take place in 2011. The first day there should be 118 miles and 2,690 altimeters be bridged. The second day 114 miles and 2,890 meters in altitude. Moreover on these day these tours can also be done as a normal ride.
At the beginning of August 2011 the Cyclo Raphaël Geminiani will be held. The start is in Issoire, at less then 30 miles from Les Camélias. There are 2 versions. The long version covers just over 90 miles with 1.730 metres of climbing and goes over the Mur de l'Herm (11%), Col de Toutée, La Beauté and the Col de la Croix. The short version is about 66 miles with 1.208 metres of climbing.
