About us
We met on a mountain biking holiday 2000 in Equador. Right from the start we realised that we both have a passion for cycling. Whether on a road bike, a mountain bike or a fully packed touring bike; we both like it equally. We shared cycling holidays together on road and mountain bikes in Europe and also further a field including Kenya and Tanzania and a 6 month cycling trip from Lima (Peru) to Ushuaia (southern most point of South America).
After a while we both realised that we wanted to do more with this passion. We decided to leave our home in the Netherlands to look for a location in France. This location naturally had to meet certain criteria; a fantastic cycling area where we could start some great cycle rides right from our doorstep; nearby shops and restaurants, easy access from a motor way, and hopefully near to winter sports tourism.
As well as cycling we really do not mind putting on our show shoes, hiking boots or even (cross country) skis! We also welcome non cyclists as Le Mont-Dore and the Sancy-region also has plenty to offer to the people looking for a less active holiday. Besides renting out apartments we keep ourselves busy with Buro RaDer; our company for web design, web applications and marketing support.
